Bleached Out Image

You will need:
Household Bleach
VersaMark Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Heat Tool
Stamp and Cardstock
Watercolor Paint Brush

When selecting your cardstock, test how the bleach will change the color.  Each color of cardstock reacts differently with the bleach application.  Just use a scrap and with your paint brush, apply some bleach and let it dry or use your heat tool to dry quickly.
In this tutorial I am using Bashful Blue Cardstock.

Begin by using your Embossing Buddy on your cardstock.  The Embossing Buddy ensures you will only emboss the stamped image.

Stamp your image with VersaMark Ink.

Pour embossing Powder on your stamped image.  Clear embossing powder was use here to create a soft look.  Any color embossing powder will work.

Use your heat tool to melt the embossing powder.

Add bleach to a glass or plastic container.
Dip the watercolor paint brush in the bleach and apply to the image.

Let dry or use your heat tool to speed up the drying process.
Be careful not to overheat and burn the image.

Finish your project!

A variation you could try:  After bleaching out the image, let bleach dry and apply different colors to the image. Try all color mediums including colored pencils, watercolor crayons, or reinkers.
